Earlier this year, I launched the Color of the Week segment—an exploration of standout shades paired with polls to get your thoughts.
From timeless classics to bold statement colors, it’s been fascinating to see which colors you’ve loved and which ones…not so much. Today, I’m recapping all the colors we covered in 2024 and sharing the stats—let’s get into it!
1. Indigo
Our undisputed winner—100% of you loved this deep, moody blue. Hard to argue with the beauty of indigo.
2. Obsidian
Coming in hot at second place is pure black, with 93% approval. Timeless and sleek!
3. Fuchsia
Rounding out the top three is the bold fuchsia, with 86% of you like this pink-purple.
4. Xanadu
This calm, grayish-green held its ground with 80% liking it.
5. Cerulean
Sky blue never goes out of style, and 78% of you agreed.
6. Coca-Cola™ Red
73% liked this soda brand’s signature red. Coca-Cola knows what they’re doing…
7. Mauve
Soft and timeless, 72% liked mauve.
8. Tiffany Blue™ & Amaranth
Luxury teal and a punchy reddish-pink ended up tying for 8th place, each earning 71% approval.
9. Vermilion
This bold reddish-orange only won over 60% of voters.
10. Heliotrope
This bright purple was is clearly polarizing—only 48% liked heliotrope.
11. Absinthe
This electric green came in second to last with 43% approval. Understandable.
12. Acid Yellow
And finally, this neon yellow takes the bottom spot with only 38% liking it. Definitely a love-it-or-leave-it kind of color.
In Conclusion!
From indigo’s clean sweep to neon colors clearly not being in, this year’s Color of the Week polls revealed just how strong opinions about color can be. It’s been fun to see your reactions, and I can’t wait to explore more colors with you next year!
