Fun fact: the color sepia originally comes from cuttlefish ink!
The cuttlefish produces this dark coffee-colored ink, which is mostly made up of melanin. Other cephalopods such as squid and octopus also product ink, but the cuttlefish specifically is notorious for its sepia color.
