Surface glare and gloss from paper or ink can distort color measurements in printing. Polarization filters to the rescue!
What are Polarization Filters?
Polarization filters are typically used to minimize differences in appearance caused by gloss or glare from paper coating or ink finish (especially for wet ink). These filters can be used along with color measurement devices such as densitometers, spectrophotometers and spectrodensitometers.
